LCB presents cannabis traceability decision package to JLARC; staff preparing for Jan. session

Mark Webster told the board the legislative session is approaching and staff are preparing. "I think it starts on January 13 and we'll be here before we know it," he said, and reported that staff presented a decision package on cannabis traceability to JLARC; committee members thanked staff for the DP and for staff presentations.
Webster said prefiled bills are being released daily and the agency is reviewing them for operational impacts; as of the time of his update he had not identified any bills that required immediate action. He noted staff are also preparing to respond to likely legislative questions about the department's work and JLARC recommendations.
