Public Works expects $150,000 FEMA payment; Osage Trail Bridge project set to start Jan. 2026

Public Works Director Don Sanders told the board a FEMA reimbursement check for $150,000 should arrive this week. The report was given as part of the department reports during the Nov. 10 meeting.
Commissioner Jake Liebau said there is work being done on Road 4 near Sewell’s on both sides of the road; Don Sanders said he was not aware of that work and would check into it. Liebau also said the Osage Trail Bridge project should start in January 2026.
