Board adopts consent items including wellness policy, contracts and ESS change orders

Trustees designated routine business items to the consent agenda and adopted them unanimously during the organizational meeting. Among approved items were the new Child Nutrition wellness policy, multiple 2024–25 vendor contracts (including Diligent, Left Coast Scales, Rachel's Challenge and others), and change orders for GEM Industrial on the Lakeview and Lakeside Farms ESS projects totaling $33,348.45 ($19,276.83 and $14,071.62 respectively).
The board also approved monthly business reports, purchase orders and purchase-card expenditures and ratified personnel assignment orders and memoranda of understanding for field placements with universities. The consent adoption included the classified salary schedule adjustment tied to the CSEA tentative agreement.
