Building Commissioner Conner Barnette presented an interlocal agreement with the Town of Brownstown to align project responsibilities for the courthouse revitalization paving. Barnette said the Town's Redevelopment Commission agreed to contribute $100,000 to the paving portion of the project; the county will accept bids, schedule the work and reconcile payments with contractor All Star after completion.
Commissioner Matt Reedy moved to approve the Interlocal Agreement between Jackson County and the Town of Brownstown for the road revitalization project; Commissioner Drew Storey seconded and the motion passed 3-0.
