Lakeside Union trustees sworn in and elect officers for 2025

Trustees Autumn Ellenson and Lara Hoefer Moir were sworn in and the board elected Hoefer Moir president, Autumn Ellenson vice president and Jim Bennett clerk in unanimous votes during the Dec. 19 organizational meeting.
Dr. Rhonda L. Taylor administered the Oath of Office Dec. 19 to Autumn Ellenson and Lara Hoefer Moir, confirming their terms on the Lakeside Union School District Board of Trustees through 2028. Shortly after the oath, the board voted unanimously to reorganize officers: Hoefer Moir as president, Ellenson as vice president and Jim Bennett as clerk.
Each officer selection was moved and seconded and carried 5–0, with Clerk Jim Bennett and President Andrew Hayes participating in the motions. The board then proceeded to routine business and report items for the evening.
