Court approves Valerie Lane speed sign; Wyatt Trail stop sign pulled after mixed feedback

Road and Bridge staff described the Valerie Lane sign as an addition (not a change to the posted limit) to remind drivers leaving the Corley Farms subdivision; staff reported speeding sensor data showing significant violations and an average weekly vehicle count of 5,178 vehicles.
Commissioner McCall moved to approve installation of the Valerie Lane sign; the motion was seconded and approved 5–0. Discussion of a lower 25 mph limit was deferred because a separate public notice would be required. The Wyatt Trail stop‑sign item generated mixed neighborhood feedback and, after consultation with general counsel, Commissioner Regent recommended pulling the item for further consideration; the court took no action on Wyatt Trail at this time.
