Council approves Imagine IT for managed IT and cybersecurity services

City staff recommended switching the city’s managed IT and cybersecurity services to Imagine IT after issuing an RFP that returned four proposals. Staff said Imagine IT was chosen because of local presence, municipal experience and certifications required for access to the state justice system. The recommendation estimated a monthly savings of about $653 (roughly $8,000 annually) compared with the current provider.
Council approved the staff recommendation and authorized the city administrator to execute services and transition documents so that Imagine IT can onboard with minimal disruption. "The transition process allows roughly 30 days to ensure continuity and to transfer passwords and documentation," staff said. Council voted 5–0 to proceed.
