Commissioners move IT role to sheriff's office and recognize final reallocations on jail project

At the Nov. 10 meeting, the Court voted to move an IT position into the Sheriff's Office and jail. Commissioner Guy Thames made the motion, Commissioner Eddie Nelms seconded, and the Court adopted the change unanimously.
Separately, the Court approved final cost reallocations to the Sheriff's Office and Jail project and recognized final project savings recorded as PCCO #9 and PCCO #10. Commissioner Hanna moved the recognition of final reallocations and Commissioner Nelms seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
