Board members focused on durability, maintenance and community reaction. One board member asked to confirm that the funds were donated; the Chair confirmed they were donated but noted a caveat that some donors asked for an initial focus on Parkview. Several members said they did not want expensive neon or purple lighting and suggested moving major lighting work to a later phase. The board coalesced around repainting existing panels, considering an overhang, and adding landscaping while asking the presenter to produce a streamlined mock-up that better matched the board's preferences.
"All of this money is donated," a board member asked; the Chair answered, "Yes." The Chair later summarized the board's direction: no neon lights and to prioritize a more modest, two-color palette, an overhang option, and landscaping with irrigation considered as a follow-up.
The board did not make a final decision; members requested additional mock-ups and a midrange pricing option for storefront windows if the board decides to pursue that later. The matter will return to a future meeting after the presenter provides revised options.
