Cole County renews multiple contracts and signs WIC services and clinical affiliation agreements
Summary
The commission unanimously approved renewals for janitorial supplies (Contract No. 2021-18) and Sheriff fleet maintenance (Contract No. 2025-26), renewed prisoner transportation services (Contract No. 2025-27), approved a WIC Local Agency Nutrition Services contract for 10/1/2026–9/30/2027, and signed a Clinical School Affiliation Agreement with Boone Health.
During the Bids & Contracts portion of the agenda July 28, the Cole County Commission approved several contract renewals and agreements.
Commissioner Jeff Hoelscher moved to renew the county's janitorial supplies contract with Hillyard (Contract No. 2021-18); the motion was seconded by Commissioner Harry Otto and passed 3–0. Hoelscher also moved to renew Sheriff Department Fleet Maintenance with Big O Tires and Donnie Braun & Sons (Contract No. 2025-26), and to renew prisoner transportation services with SMOJS (Contract No. 2025-27); both motions were seconded by Commissioner Otto and approved unanimously.
The Commission approved the Program Services Contract for WIC Local Agency Nutrition Services with the Cole County Health Department with contract dates of 10/1/2026–9/30/2027, and approved and signed a Clinical School Affiliation Agreement with Boone Health; both actions passed 3–0. The minutes record contract numbers for six items; contractor names and contract numbers are recorded where provided in the minutes.
