Curt Carpenter presented the amendment on behalf of Public Works and told the council the funding increase covers GIS work tied to the project’s design documentation and mapping. Staff also reported that applications for the Water Tech position have been received and that applicant interviews will begin Tuesday, May 27, 2025. The council took the amendment as a single formal action and did not record any separate vote on the hiring timeline.
