The Cole County Commission approved several procurement items during its July 28 meeting. Staff reported the fifth renewal of janitorial supplies with Hilliard included a proposed 4% price increase; a commissioner moved to renew and the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
The commission also renewed the sheriff department fleet maintenance contract with Big O and Donnie Pong and Sons and approved the first renewal of prisoner transportation services with vendor JS at the existing pricing. A staff member explained the prisoner transport vendor "has agreed to maintain the current pricing." Each contract renewal was approved after a motion and second.
These contract approvals were processed as routine business; commissioners did not request additional procurement analysis on the record.
