Elk County approves 2026 health, dental and vision insurance renewals; Blue Cross rates unchanged

Scott Day said: "There will be no increase for Blue Cross & Blue Shield health insurance, a 2.3% increase for Delta Dental and no increase for Vision Care Direct." Commissioner Jake Liebau moved and Commissioner Perry Russell seconded to approve the Day Insurance Solutions 2026 health, dental and vision insurance renewal; the motion carried 3-0.
The minutes record no change to the county's Blue Cross health premiums, a modest 2.3% increase for dental coverage and no change for vision coverage. The board did not attach conditions to the approval and recorded no abstentions or dissents.
