Elk County hires part-time EMT; sheriff says dispatch will be fully staffed by November

EMS Director Gillian Beaumont told the commission she had recently hired a part-time EMT while also losing a part-time EMT, describing continuing turnover in the department. Sheriff John Walker told the board that dispatch staffing is improving: "by the end of November they should be fully staffed in dispatch," according to the minutes. The board's hiring motion for Ainsley Lamb was recorded as carried 3-0.
