The Wyoming County Public Health Committee voted Feb. 25 to proclaim March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and to invite ARC GLOW individuals to receive the proclamation at an upcoming Board of Supervisors meeting.
Mental health staff member K. Dryja presented the proclamation. Supervisor Smith moved the motion, which the minutes record as passing with six ayes and one absence (Supervisor McCormick). The committee also approved the appointment of Bridgette Zittel (SASi) to the county’s Developmental Disabilities Subcommittee for a four-year term effective Feb. 5, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2029; Supervisor Merrill moved that appointment and the motion carried with the same recorded vote tally.
