Elk County Rural Fire District #1 budget adopted; fleet repairs and equipment purchases reported

The motion to approve and adopt the 2026 Elk County Rural Fire District #1 budget was moved by Commissioner Russell and seconded by Commissioner Liebau; the motion carried 2-0. During the district update, Todd Winscher reported that truck #511 is at the transmission shop and that air compressors have been purchased for the Longton and Elk Falls shops.
The Rural Fire budget adoption was recorded at the start of the meeting and the commission closed the hearings at 1:33 p.m.
