Clay County EMS buys replacement tires, approves $850 container painting; department reports busy week

Alec Trembath, EMS Director, told the Board that Clay County EMS was on emergency run number 343 and that the department had a busy week with multiple out-of-town transfers. Four employees attended a Pediatric Trauma Symposium in Wichita and the department plans to incorporate some of the training into policy.
Mr. Trembath presented three quotes for six replacement tires; the Board approved the lowest quote from Kansasland Tire and Service for $1,072.61 for Wrangler Workhorse HT tires. He also presented a single bid of $850 from Double D Maintenance to prep and paint a shipping storage container; the Board approved that bid unanimously.
