Wyoming County committee accepts $15,000 NYS 250 grant to fund local commemorations

The committee approved the related appropriation of $15,000 (account 017510.542435) with corresponding state aid (01751005.430890).
Committee members also approved a supplemental appropriation of $5,077.50 (account 017510.542306), to be funded from contingency or other available funds, to cover events not covered by the NYS sub‑grant. The committee voted to authorize professional service contracts under General Municipal Law §104(b) with two local historical societies: Sheldon Historical Society (not to exceed $4,812.50; MUNIS #3619) and Warsaw Historical Society (not to exceed $4,170.00; MUNIS #3620), both effective March 10–Aug. 24, 2026, to develop commemorative programming.
