Cowley County approves sheriff’s office staffing, IT support and jail dryer replacement

Sheriff David Falletti told commissioners on Feb. 3 that he would remove John Butters and add Captain Adam Trahan as signers on the Cowley County Jail commissary account at Union State Bank; the board approved the change by a 3-0 vote.
Falletti also asked for a temporary, part-time Flex Systems Administrator position to support the Spillman Flex Records Management System; the board approved the position not to exceed $27,000 or one year. Separately, commissioners approved the purchase of a replacement clothes dryer for the jail not to exceed $8,407.00 after the existing dryer failed.
