Committee removes two action-table items and approves Section 5 of the watershed plan

The Policy Committee discussed Section 5 (Targeted Implementation) of the watershed plan and approved edits and deletions on May 19, 2025. Motion by Kevin Paap, second by Roger Pohlman to remove item PPE-9 from the Public Participation and Engagement Action Table carried unanimously. A second motion by Kevin Paap, second by Jeff Bell to remove item RDG-4 from the Research and Data Gaps Action Table also carried unanimously.
After those removals, Roger Pohlman moved and Bruce Anderson seconded a motion to approve Plan Section 5; the motion carried unanimously. The committee’s recorded actions remove the two specific items (PPE-9, RDG-4) from their respective tables and finalize Section 5 for inclusion in the plan’s internal review phase.
