Board approves multiple curriculum and service contracts for 2025–26 school year

At its April 16 meeting the Lammersville Board approved a set of routine contract renewals and a food-services agreement for the 2025–26 school year.
Contracts approved included a one-year extension with Benchmark Education for grades 3–6 ELA/ELD consumables totaling $74,087.88 and a one-year extension with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for grades K–2 and 7–8 ELA/ELD consumables totaling $212,800.24. The district said these are annual consumables that support classroom curriculum. The board also approved a one-year renewal with Imagine Learning for Edgenuity, supporting accelerated middle-school math, at $146,150; staff said the shorter renewal term allows the district to continue searching for alternatives without a longer commitment.
Separately, trustees approved an agreement to provide National School Lunch Program services to Mountain House Elementary School District for 2025–26, a routine inter-district support arrangement described by staff as an annual partnership.
Each item was moved, seconded and approved by the board with the stated outcome “motion carries with 4 ayes, no nos, and 1 absent.”
