Lammersville Elementary ASB students present year-end activities to board

Heidi Beck, principal at Lammersville Elementary, brought ASB students to the board to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and summarize recent student-led events. "We are here to present our successful events with you," Beck said as students described an annual Saint Patrick’s scavenger hunt, a March spring dance and a January movie night.
Student speakers named activities they helped run and fundraisers that supported CJSF, ASB, sixth-grade science camp and eighth-grade activities. Mohammed Zorba said the scavenger hunt "brought joy to all students who participated," and students noted popular stations included face painting, rock painting and a snow-cone snack station. The board thanked the students and invited them to stay for the meeting but noted it was near the end of the school year and they were free to return to studies.
