Separately, the commission approved a purchase request to TRN Media for advertising in the amount of $9,129.45.
Both transactions were moved, seconded and carried on recorded votes. Commissioners and staff emphasized that purchase requests should be placed on the agenda in advance and pass through the auditor's office for approval before coming to the commission.
