The Daggett County Commission unanimously adopted the Daggett County and Dutch John Rural Economic Blueprint on Feb. 3 after a presentation by Peggy White and August Graneth of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. Commissioner Randy Asay moved to approve the plan and Commissioner Jack Lytle seconded the motion; the motion carried on a recorded vote.
County officials said the blueprint is intended to guide local economic development and coordination with Dutch John. The commission’s formal adoption allows staff to pursue the actions identified in the document and to coordinate follow-up steps with regional partners. The meeting then moved to a closed-session motion concerning real property negotiations.
