At its Nov. 24 meeting, the Ward County Commissioners' Court completed routine administrative business by unanimous votes. The Court approved payment of the county's bills and accepted officers' reports (motion by Commissioner Eddie Nelms; second by Commissioner Larry Hanna). Commissioner Larry Hanna moved and Commissioner Guy Thames seconded approval of the treasurer's monthly report.
The Court also acknowledged a $2,000.00 donation from William Neace to the Sheriff's Office, which was accepted by motion and recorded in the minutes. The Court voted to accept applications for the golf course pro shop manager and approved an agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department relating to boat registration.
