Applicant representative Marshall Barrett said security cameras, noise monitoring and management practices are in place and noted a prior temporary FIFA permit period had been complied with.
Neighbor Jackie Davis, who lives nearby, said she objected on safety grounds and cited a large, persistent pile of gravel in the driveway and overgrowth on the adjoining woods that she said reduced sight lines and created hazards. Davis said she had taken photos showing the property’s condition and urged continued maintenance if the commission approved the permit.
During the vote, Commissioner O’Neil abstained because of a personal acquaintance with the owner; the motion carried 6–yes, 1–abstention. Staff said it would submit code-enforcement service requests if any maintenance violations were reported.
