Jubanville proposes independent review, state audit of Norfolk County DA's office

Robert Jubanville told TV on TV he would create external oversight if elected Norfolk County district attorney. “I would appoint an independent body to review the police conduct in the Norfolk district attorney's office. And I'd make that report public,” Jubanville said, describing an oversight board to examine police actions and DA-office practices.
He also said he would call the state auditor to audit the office after he is sworn in to determine how money was spent on contested cases. “I would call the state auditor to do an audit of the office, to see what money was spent on these cases,” Jubanville said, adding that transparent reporting to county residents would be a priority.
