Ambulance staff warn of shortages; board hears request for EMT training and holiday overtime pay

The ambulance staff raised pay and benefits as contributing factors and requested overtime pay for all staff when working a holiday; the board said pay issues will be discussed during the 2026 salary schedule review. No formal motion was recorded to change pay at the Sept. 2 meeting.
