The Clark County Board of Commissioners conducted a second reading and approved Ordinance 01-24 on Sept. 2, 2025, changing the official zoning map to reclassify specified Mayfield Hutterian Brethren property from 'A' Agricultural to 'CI' Commercial/Industrial. Luke Muller read the ordinance and the motion to approve passed unanimously (voting aye: Sass, Hass, Gjerde, Schlagel and Knock).
Muller told the board the ordinance will be published next week and is scheduled to take effect on Sept. 30, 2025. The ordinance amends Section 1.03.01 of the Clark County Zoning Ordinance to reflect the change in zoning classification for the described parcel in Section 4, Township 114 North, Range 56 West of the 5th P.M., Clark County, South Dakota.
