Ordinance 80-26, introduced by Mr. Dimacchia, authorizes the Safety/Service Director to enter into a settlement agreement with Discount Drug Mart, Inc., and directs those funds to the city's Opioid Settlement Fund. The council suspended readings, amended the ordinance to add the numbers "2061" at the beginning of the account number, and passed the measure unanimously.
The amendment to the account coding was carried before the final passage; council recorded the passage as 11–0. Funds will be allocated to the Opioid Settlement Fund per ordinance text and the city auditor was directed to code the allocation accordingly.
