Ward County approves $5.24 million in budget amendments including $2.6M hospital renovation

Ward County Commissioners' Court on Feb. 9, 2026 unanimously adopted multiple budget amendments that increase county spending across several funds, including a $2,600,000 increase for Phase 1 of hospital renovations and a $2,140,000 increase to the Building Construction/Renovation Fund.
