The Fayette County Board of Commissioners voted Feb. 23 to approve the list of vendor bills presented by the county auditor and to authorize interfund advances and additional appropriations.
Commissioners James D. Garland, Tony Anderson and Donald L. Fleak voted unanimously to approve payment of the submitted bills, which covered routine county operations and special-district expenses (examples in the list included payments to Cargill Inc. for water district materials and MASI Laboratories for water and sanitary testing). The board also approved an advance of $1,000 from the CEBCO Wellness Program to commissioners and an advance of $71,000 from the CDBG Allocation '23 fund into the commissioners' fund. In addition, the board approved an additional appropriation of $2,086.15 for sanitary services other expense.
The motions to pay bills, make advances, and adopt additional appropriations were moved and seconded on the record and carried on roll call with each commissioner voting aye. The minutes and bills list were recorded as presented by the county auditor.
