Commissioners approve easement termination, voucher report and court appropriations

The Board on Feb. 17 approved a Termination of Easement for Ralph J. Pierson and Donna J. Pierson related to GP 1 removed on Lot 117 of Johnson's Landing “B,” 5550 E Channel Drive, in the Portage/Catawba Island Sewer District. The action was taken on the Sanitary Engineer's recommendation and approved by the Prosecuting Attorney; the motion carried unanimously.
Separately, the Board approved the Ottawa County Voucher Report dated Feb. 12, 2026 in the total amount of $10,823.68 and authorized transfers and appropriations requested by Common Pleas Court. The voucher report was authorized for payment and the County Auditor was directed to issue the warrant; the motion was moved by Commissioner Douglas, seconded by Commissioner Coppeler, and approved unanimously.
