The board approved Resolution 2026-0138 to amend a contract with Megan L. Miller APRN CNP Direct Primary Care to provide access for consulting, coaching, and issuing prescriptions for GLP-1 medications to qualifying county employees.
Human Resources Director Michelle Noble explained employees will purchase medications directly from the manufacturer and the county will reimburse up to half the cost, not to exceed $200 per employee per month, after timely submission of appropriate documentation. County Administrator Jennifer Hutchinson said recent cost reductions for GLP-1 medications mean savings will go directly to employees.
The amendment is effective Feb. 18 through Dec. 31, 2026, and will be administered through shared insurance/employee contribution funding mechanisms.
