Commissioners approve Lead Safe Ohio contract adjustments, shifting funds among contractors

The Board of Clark County Commissioners approved multiple contract amendments on Feb. 18 to align contracts with available grant funding for the Clark County Lead Safe Ohio program (ODoD #LED-2023-203561).
Per the approved amendments, Lamp Construction's "not to exceed" amount was decreased from $495,000 to $340,000; Neighborhood Housing Partnership of Greater Springfield's amount was decreased from $132,000 to $116,950; and Reliable Home Improvement Services of Ohio, Inc.'s amount was increased from $495,000 to $665,000. The resolutions describe the changes as adjustments "to correspond to the actual amount which will be paid to the contractor from current grant funding for services provided during the period of the Lead Safe Ohio program." Effective dates for the amended contracts remain within the listed program periods.
Commissioner Charles A. Patterson moved the amendments as requested by the Community & Economic Development Director; each motion passed on unanimous roll call votes (three Yes votes). The board authorized the County Administrator to execute the amendments and related documents, including purchase orders.
