Board members discussed line items including clothing allowances, cell phones, and an intoxilyzer service; some recommended moving capital items such as ambulance monitors into the county's capital (QM/CCAP) budget rather than recurring operating lines.
No formal vote was taken. Commissioners directed staff to request written guidance from state authorities on permitted uses of jail-ceded funds and to return with clarifications and any recommended edits to department budgets in the next packet.
