The Warrick County School Corp board voted to adopt revised middle and high school handbooks for the 2026–27 school year that will be distributed only in electronic form.
Dr. Redmond presented the packet and said the handbook will "only be available to students as an electronic document." Board members asked whether the change was new and how students without easy access would be supported; Dr. Redmond said schools use Google Classroom and staff can provide planning books or hard copies in limited situations. The board moved and approved the handbook by voice vote.
Board members asked follow-up questions about whether the handbook content mirrored the agenda book and about supports for organization when students have limited device access. Dr. Redmond said some schools will purchase a small number of printed planning books as needed and will use Google Classroom to post assignments.
