District clerk/staff presented the new Assembly (branded Simbly) service that will replace BoardDocs as the public-facing repository for agendas and minutes. She demonstrated how the public will access meeting agendas from the district's Board of Trustees page, explained the login difference for board members (confidential items visible only when logged in), and walked members through sample voting and sticky-note features for private annotations.
Staff tested a sample meeting and showed how votes are collected and displayed; they noted the public will see vote results projected during meetings and that confidential student matters remain restricted to logged-in board members. The clerk offered to assist individual members with login setup ahead of the evening board meeting and advised that historic BoardDocs items are available on request while the district decides whether to bulk-import older documents.
