Staff clarifies agenda item misfiled for District No. 2; no action required by District No. 1

Assistant Parish Engineer Luke Haney informed the board that Agenda Item No. 13 (acceptance of a proposal for Project No. 2026-121, Rocky Mount Water Plant Improvements, CWEF File No. 2425-CWEF-BSR-001) had been listed under District No. 1 in error. He apologized for not correcting the designation at the Police Jury meeting earlier that day and advised the board that the item belongs to Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 2 and does not require action by District No. 1.
Parish Administrator Dr. Ken Ward confirmed the clarification and advised that District No. 2 will consider the item. The board did not take action on the Rocky Mount project because it is outside the district’s purview.
