The group agreed to draft recommended edits to take to the planning commission; they also discussed whether to hire outside expertise for technical matters such as solar farms or data‑center impacts.
Commissioners emphasized they would continue to process existing applications and noted that targeted consultant review could be used for specialized industries rather than commissioning a full code rewrite.
