P&Z approves minutes and recommendation pages for multiple zoning and plan amendments

The commission unanimously approved the Jan. 26, 2026 minutes and recommendation pages for Danso LLC's zoning map amendment, proposed amendments to Jerome County Zoning Ordinance Chapters 7 and 11, and proposed amendments to Chapter 10 of the Comprehensive Plan.
At the Feb. 23 meeting the Jerome County Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously accepted the January 26, 2026 minutes. The commission also voted unanimously to approve recommendation pages as written for Danso LLC's request for a Zoning Map Amendment, proposed amendments to Jerome County Zoning Ordinance Chapter 7 and Chapter 11, and proposed amendments to Jerome County Comprehensive Plan Chapter 10.
Becky Dean made the initial motion to accept the minutes and subsequently moved to approve the various recommendation pages; Janet Bolich seconded several of those motions. Each motion was recorded as carried unanimously. These approvals indicate staff and the commission found the written recommendation language and supporting exhibits sufficient to forward to the next steps in the review or adoption process.
