The Wrenshall City Council convened June 10 with four councilmembers present and approved the meeting agenda, consent agenda and the 2025 audit. The council approved prepaid checks/electronic transfers of $126,190.836 and June bills/electronic transfers of $53,976.70 covering checks #31956-32004 and e-checks 81e-84e.
Council actions included approval of the audit after a telephone overview by Jordan White of Lakes Area CPAs; authorization to resubmit a FY2024 FEMA grant application (the city agreed to accept a $5,500 obligation if the grant is awarded); approval of physicals/fit testing for firefighters who missed group testing; and several public-works and community items including a culvert request, additional Class 5 material, crosswalk/curb paint, a pavilion repair quote of $1,500, National Night Out signage, and a letter for USDA income survey mailings. The meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM.
