Clark County commissioners approve routine business, set further budget talks

The Clark County Board of Commissioners convened on Aug. 5, 2025 and approved the day’s agenda and the minutes of the July 15 meeting. Chairman Wallace Knock recorded the meeting as called to order at 8:00 a.m.; Commissioners Chris Sass, Francis Hass, Sara Gjerde and Terry Schlagel were present along with Auditor Tarbox.
The board accepted the low bid on August diesel #2 fuel quotes presented by staff and approved routine claims and payroll. The board authorized payment of claims totaling $272,044.39 and payroll totaling $117,025.46. The meeting concluded with an adjournment at 10:33 a.m.; commissioners scheduled their next regular meeting for Aug. 19, 2025 at 8:00 a.m.
