At its April 8 meeting the Miami County Plan Commission recorded the following formal actions:
- Temporary moratorium on data centers: Favorable recommendation to the Board of Commissioners approved in a roll-call vote (7–1). Motion by Jamie Hopper; second by Tim Alwine. Resolution: 4-8-26A (recommended to Board).
- U.S. Highway 24/31 declaratory resolution and revised economic development plan: Favorable recommendation to the Board approved unanimously. Motion by Tim Alwine; second by Scarlett Graves. Resolution: 4-8-26B (recommended to Board).
- Agriculture permits approved: AGP #318-26 (3,840 sq ft), AGP #319-26 (1,200 sq ft, 200-amp service), AGP #320-26 (1,600 sq ft). Motions passed by voice vote.
- Staff reports accepted: Comprehensive plan school surveys ongoing; SRI proposed lien processing at $5.00 per lien but staff recommended in-house processing.
