Corey Roser presented staff and expense reports at the April 8 meeting, reporting that school surveys for the county comprehensive plan are currently being conducted at local schools.
Roser presented a proposal from SRI to write, record, and mail liens at a cost of $5.00 per lien. Roser stated he did not believe outsourcing lien processing was warranted given current volumes and said office staff can manage the monthly lien workload. Brooklyn Thomas presented a violation report and commissioners confirmed that mailings and notification calls were reaching recipients prior to deadlines for violation and unsafe building letters.
The commission accepted the staff reports and directed staff to continue with the listed administrative processes.
