Clerk Sharonda Brown announced several administrative items: open enrollment for employee health insurance benefits on June 11, 2025; a hurricane kick-off meeting on June 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fifth Ward Recreation Center; the deadline to submit items for the June 24 meeting is noon on June 16; and upcoming conferences including NACo (July 11–15) and the National Brownfields Training Conference (August 5–8). The meeting was adjourned to reconvene June 24, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
