Police Jury approves RCIP task orders, park invoice and accepts equipment quote

The St. Helena Parish Police Jury approved several capital and procurement items on Aug. 26, 2025. Jurors approved Task Order No. 10 submitted by H. Davis Cole & Associates, LLC for RCIP OMV renovations and Task Order No. 12 for the RCIP Safe Room Project. They also approved invoice #4 from Southern Sites Services, LLC for $2,375.00 payable from LA Outdoors funding for St. Helena Recreational Parks Improvements.
Later in the meeting the jury accepted a quote from Doggett Equipment in the amount of $8,965.44; that acceptance was recorded with a roll-call vote showing the same five-yea, one-nay pattern as earlier votes. The approvals allow staff to move forward on renovations and park work subject to normal contracting and payment procedures.
