Board certifies financial implications of bargaining agreements, approves salary schedules

The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District Board on May 12 certified the financial implications of the district’s collective bargaining agreements, a public disclosure requirement under Government Code 3547.5. The motion to certify the financial implications was moved by Rick Jackson and seconded by Brent Lunde and carried 4–0 with Mike Serpa absent.
Following that certification, the board approved certificated and classified salary schedules for 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 and approved certificated management and academic/athletic stipend schedules. Classified management salary schedules were tabled for additional review. All approvals passed on recorded motions during the meeting’s action items (M242-2425 through M248-2425).
