The board adopted Resolution R13-2425 authorizing a piggyback purchase of a new Blue Bird T3RE 3904 bus for $304,531.23; the resolution passed on a motion by Rick Jackson, seconded by Brent Lunde, with four ayes and one member absent.
The board also approved a quote to purchase a Ford van from Santo Ford of Los Banos for $68,168.47. The superintendent noted the district will convert the van from a 12-passenger to a 10-passenger configuration to allow for additional storage space for activities and equipment. That motion passed 4–0. Both items were listed in the consent/board-action portion of the agenda (M240-2425; M234-2425).
