At the Feb. 17 meeting the Fayette County Board of Commissioners approved financial housekeeping items and several smaller contracts and travel requests. The board approved advances of $7,527.90 (General Fund → HUD Grant Bluegrass) and $46,609.35 (General Fund → Rattlesnake Water System Improvement); a transfer of $11,250 to Commission on Aging; and an additional appropriation of $135,000 to MVGT - Bridges. Motions were moved and seconded and carried on roll call (all aye where recorded).
The board also accepted a quote from Commercial Cleaning Solutions, Inc. to supply and change floor mats for eight county buildings for two years at $390.45 (bi-weekly), and approved multiple travel and training expense requests submitted under Section 325.20 of the Revised Code for county staff and Commissioner Tony Anderson. The Department of Job & Family Services travel requests for staff (Ashlee Ward, Beth Potts, Marcie Hamilton, Becca Ratliff, Madison Beekman) were included and signed by the board.
